The Scholar-Athlete’s Secret Weapon: Stay Near Hoërskool Waterkloof

The Scholar-Athlete’s Secret Weapon: Stay Near Hoërskool Waterkloof: Are you heading to Pretoria for the big games at Hoërskool Waterkloof? While the athletes focus on the field, parents should focus on the perfect place to recharge.

First and foremost, school sports season in Pretoria is an adrenaline-fueled marathon. Whether you are here for the rugby trials, Waterkloof netball league, hockey, chess or any of the many sporting events that Waterkloof Hoërskool hosts, performance starts with a good night’s sleep. Notably, staying at Andante Lodge places you just a short, few minutes stress-free drive from the Waterkloof High School gates.

Because we understand the schedule of a dedicated scholar-athlete, we provide an environment that prioritizes peace and quiet. Consequently, your teenagers can rest properly before their morning swim heats or afternoon cricket matches. Furthermore, our self-catering suites allow parents to prepare healthy, “pre-game” meals without relying on greasy stadium snacks.

In addition to the convenience, our lodge offers a beautiful garden setting to calm those pre-match nerves. While the athletes are busy competing, family members can enjoy a tranquil morning near the Rietvlei Nature Reserve. Alternatively, you might want to catch some of the other local action offered at entertainment hubs such as the SunBet Arena later that evening.

Relaxation for the Scholars is paramount and easy at Andante Lodge. They can swim, play pool or table tennis or just relax in the tranquil gardens.

Ultimately, sports tours should be about more than just the scoreboard. They should be an opportunity to relax together in a comfortable, upscale environment. Therefore, choose the #1 Tripadvisor rated lodge in Pretoria to ensure your team is fully rested and ready to win. In short, Andante Lodge is the home-away-from-home that every Klofie supporter deserves.

We’re #1 on TripAdvisor (And We’ve Only Let it Go to Our Heads a Little)

We’re #1 on TripAdvisor (And We’ve Only Let it Go to Our Heads a Little): TripAdvisor just ranked us the #1 Guest House in Pretoria. We are thrilled, though we promise not to let the fame go to our heads—mostly because our crowns would keep falling off in the garden.

Description

First, we want to thank our incredible guests. Your reviews helped us reach the top spot on TripAdvisor. Consequently, we are working harder than ever to maintain the quiet, luxury experience you love. While the rest of the city prepares for the loud Mahindra Fusion Fest on March 7th, we are focusing on your comfort.

Many visitors come to Pretoria for massive events like Doja Cat’s “Move Afrika” show on March 20th. However, they quickly realize that a loud stadium requires a silent sanctuary afterward. This is where we shine. Because we offer extra-length queen beds and private patios, our guests enjoy a level of rest that city hotels simply cannot match.

Furthermore, our location near the Rietvlei Nature Reserve offers a unique escape. You can watch the rhinos in the morning and attend the Basketball Africa League (BAL) games by the afternoon. Even if you are just here for the National Gardens Week (March 9–13), our lush grounds provide the perfect backdrop.

In short, being #1 is about more than just a trophy. It is about providing a space where the only “heavy metal” is the grill on your private braai. Whether you are attending the Bryan Adams tour in April or a local business meeting, choose the lodge that travelers trust most. We look forward to showing you why we are Pretoria’s favorite hideaway.
